 Fact or Fiction is a dance and storytelling event in which performers tell stories with language and movement and the audience votes on the veracity of each. Bring a date, bring your friends, and get ready to laugh, maybe cry and definitely have something to talk about after the show!

Meet The Creative Team

Allegra Herman, Performer

Born and raised in NYC, Allegra Herman is a Bessie Award winning dancer and dance educator. From 2018-2019, she toured with the first national tour of Fiddler on the Roof, and has since performed at the MET Opera. She currently dances with Pigeonwing Dance and has worked with TD since 2014. She is thrilled to share the magic of Fact or Fiction with you!

Morgen Littlejohn, Performer

Morgen Littlejohn is a Brooklyn-based movement artist specializing in youth education and mentorship. She has danced works by Jennifer Archibald and David Dorfman and was an original cast member of Colleen Thomas’ Bessie nominated, Light and Desire. She has been dancing with TD since 2016 and is excited to present Fact or Fiction at the PIT!

Daniel Pahl, Performer

Daniel Pahl is an NYC-based artist. Off-Broadway: The Goodbye Girl. National Tours: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Elf. Select regional theatre: West Side Story (The Muny), Jerome Robbins’ Broadway (TUTS), Newsies (Casa Mañana), Spamalot (Palace Theatre). Daniel began dancing with TD in 2022 and is thrilled to be sharing Fact or Fiction at the PIT!

 

Elizabeth Hepp, Performer

Elizabeth Hepp is a Brooklyn-based dance artist and producer. A BFA graduate from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, she recently danced in works by Ben Wright, PeiJu Chien-Pott, and Heidi Latsky. She was a company member with Dusan Tynek Dance Theater and Erick Montes’ Danceable Projects from 2017 – 2020. Liz produces performances on unconventional stages with CreateArt. She has been dancing with TD since 2021.

 

Claire Louise Goldes, Swing (u/s)

Claire Louise Goldes is an NYC-based performer, choreographer, movement director, and Pilates instructor. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with BFAs in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BA in Psychological Science. She was a part of the inaugural GibneyPRO cohort, and has since performed for Chelsea Thedinga, Adaptation Dance Theater’s Pivot, Soap Impressions, CROSS THE LINE Dance Company, and more. She has also presented choreographic work in festivals and shows around NYC and LA. Claire is so excited to join TD!

lllya Lenych, Performer

Born in Ukraine, Illya Lenych moved to NYC to pursue the arts. A recent graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Lenych currently dances with Mason Lee Dance Theater and as a freelance artist. Lenych became a part of Trainor Dance in 2022 and is excited to be sharing Fact or Fiction!

 

Malik Q. Williams, Swing (u/s)

MaliQ is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and started his training in classical ballet and modern. He then received his BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. Since then he has performed with The Limon Company, The National Dance Company of Wales, Mark Morris Dance Group, and more. He’s excited to be working with TD for the first time, and can’t wait to present ‘Fact or Fiction’ at the PIT!

Caitlin Trainor, Artistic Director

Named one of “25 to Watch” by Dance Magazine, Caitlin Trainor is a choreographer, dancer, educator, and the founder of Trainor Dance and Dancio. Her creative work ranges from neoclassical to wildly experimental, and includes dances for the theater as well as stairwells, galleries, and gardens. She has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Jacob’s Pillow, and the World Science Festival. Caitlin teaches at Barnard College/Columbia University and is the mom of a 6 year old mover and shaker.
